Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf 2018

In August 2018 we visited the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. We were focused on camper vans based on the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. But we soon discovered that a camper van isn’t the right solution for long time travelling. An other point is the poor thermal insulation which could be a problem during winter camping. Finally we saw the model Safari from HRZ and decided to go for this type of vehicle. An other point is the 4x4 option by Mercedes-Benz, with a lacks of mechanical differential locks. So we decided to go for a 4x4 factory conversion by Oberaigner.
