Canada - Part II
Québec, Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan
On April 14, we entered Québec near Pointe-à-la-Croix and explored the Gaspé Peninsula. We crossed the Saint Lawrence River at Rivière-du-Loup and traveled along the north shore to Québec City. After spending two days there, we moved on to Ottawa, where we stayed for three days.
Next, we visited Algonquin Provincial Park, spending three days hiking its beautiful trails—a paradise for hikers. We continued our journey along the north shore of Lake Huron and Lake Superior, passing through Sault Ste. Marie to Thunder Bay.
Our next stop was Winnipeg, Manitoba, followed by a visit to Spruce Woods Provincial Park. We then traveled south to Grasslands National Park via Regina. However, after several days of rain, the park's gravel roads became too muddy to drive on, preventing us from visiting.
Instead, we made a brief stop at Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park before leaving Saskatchewan on June 8.
